Dave Chappelle surprised his fans with almost an hour’s worth of anti-Clinton material
Reports circulated on Saturday that at a special surprise show in New York on Friday, comedian Dave Chappelle devoted a set’s worth of material to criticizing Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
Though Chappelle admitted that he had already voted for Clinton in Ohio, he said that he didn’t feel good about it.
Throughout the set, Chappelle reportedly praised Donald Trump and joked that he was part of the Illuminati.
Chappelle also reportedly chimed in on the leaked audiotape that almost took down Trump’s campaign in which he is heard saying he can grab women “by the pussy.”
“What I heard on that tape was gross,” Chappelle said.
“But the way I got to hear it was even more gross. You know that came directly from Hillary.”
“Sexual assault?” Chappelle allegedly questioned.
“It wasn’t. He said, ‘And when you’re a star, they let you do it.’ That phrase implies consent. I just don’t like the way the media twisted that whole thing. Nobody questioned it.”
Chappelle continued on about Clinton, by comparing her to the people in history she will be remembered alongside.
“She’s going to be on a coin someday. And her behavior has not been coin-worthy,” the comedian said. “She’s not right, and we all know she’s not right.”
Earlier in the week, it was announced that Chappelle would host the Nov. 12 episode of “Saturday Night Live,” which leaves open the slight possibility that this was all a comedy sketch.
Chappelle’s quotes first appeared in The Observer, a publication run by Donald Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner
