A YouTube vlogger Elle Darby, 22, was called out online by a hotel owner after asking for free accomodation in exchange for promotion on social media. Darby wrote to Paul Stenson, the owner of the White Moose Café and Charleville Lodge Hotel in Dublin, about a possible collaboration involving free accommodation for her and her partner, and he declined in a open letter that blasted her request
Stenson didn't mention her name but stated that she lacked 'self-respect and dignity' for making such a request.
Darby responded by posting an emotional video on her YouTube channel, claiming that Stenson's actions had led to her being targeted by online trolls
However, in a follow-up post on Facebook, the hotel announced that all bloggers are now banned from their business. The owner, Stenson, wrote:
