A kidnappers den was on Tuesday uncovered in Ahmadiyya area of Lagos State.
The den was reportedly discovered by a street sweeper in the area off the popular Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway.
The building being used for the alleged nefarious activity was uncompleted.
Immediately the alarm was raised and the house searched, giving an impression of rituals having been performed there, two men suspected to be behind the deed, were brought out by a mob, questioned and beaten before being set ablaze.
They were said to have refused to confess to their evil deeds, with one of them boasting that no matter the beating, he was not going to die.
Two others, who were also going to be set ablaze were lucky as security agents rescued them.
It took several hours for the combined team of operatives of the Nigerian Air Force, Nigeria Police and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps to get the men out of the grip of the crowd.
It was a scene to behold as several persons gathered to witness the development.
