Buhari may return to London on May 10 as Aisha takes charge of his care
Sahara Reporters is reporting that President Buhari made a controlled appearance in the office today May 2 in other to douse nationwide concern about the state of his health.
It said the president’s handlers implemented the controlled appearance.
Sahara Reporters also said that the president reportedly arrived at his office today looking frail and low in energy to meet with the Group Managing Director of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, Maikanti Baru, and Attorney General Abubakar Malami.
The president during his appearance did not speak with State House journalists.
The news outfit also reported that the president’s wife wanted him to return to his doctors in the United Kingdom to continue his treatment and to allow him to recuperate fully.
They reported that a source at the villa said Aisha is now in charge of her husband’s care, having taken over from his daughters, Halima and Zahra, in addition to his doctor and several medical personnel.
The source also revealed that the president may appear for an hour at the weekly cabinet meeting tomorrow, and then allow VP Yemi Osinbajo to continue with presiding over the meeting while he retires to the residence to continue his recuperation.
Sahara reporters also quoted a source at the Presidency that a new date has tentatively been set for May 10, for the president to return to London and continue his treatment.
