Kim, Kourtney, Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner 'sued for $32 million for failing to pay former beauty line marketer share of profits'
Reality stars, Kim, Khloe, Kourtney Kardashian and Kris Jenner are being sued for $32 million by their former marketer who they failed to pay a share of the profit made from Kardashian Beauty line.
John LaBonty, the CEO and President of Boldface, a company that markets beauty products, alleges that Kim, Khloe and Kourtney along with momager Kris Jenner failed to pay him an agreed five percent share of profits from their beauty products, TMZ reported.
According to the lawsuit, the Kardashians gave Boldface an exclusive deal to market all its beauty stuff after the launch of the Kardashian Beauty line back in 2012.
Later in 2014, the company was acquired by another company but LaBonty is claiming it didn't affect his interest.
According to him, he had a 5% equity interest in all products in the Kardashian Beauty line. He says the Kardashian women stopped making any effort to market, promote and support the line and crumbled the company's ability to make money off the products.
In the lawsuit, LaBonty is demanding nothing less than $32 million in compensation.
